Lorna Jean Walters (Evans) was called home as heaven’s newest angel on Monday, December 23, 2019. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 72. She brightened the world with her painting, coloring, and art. Her quick wits, sense of humor, and potato salad brought smiles to the faces of all who knew her. She bravely confronted and fought cancer twice, remaining a brave, iron-willed woman until her seconded battled ended in late December.
Lorna is survived by her loving husband Brandon Walters; children, Madelyn Goreham, Celeste Stewart, and Richard Tillman; brother Roy Evans; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Lorna was preceded in death by her sons Scott Tillman and Jeffery Tillman.
In honor of Lorna, a private memorial will be held. “You may have lost your battle to cancer, but you are still my hero.”
