Lady Pirates double down on wins

Winning back to back last week, the Lady Pirates are sailing through district with full sails. They will head to Jourdanton to take on the Squaws on October 3rd and then the Poth Pirates on October 6th.
When they faced Dilley on September 17th, the “Pirates walked in ready to compete. It was a long night as we lost the first two sets, the ladies had to buckle down and fight hard to the end, winning three sets, consecutively. The Pirates won in 5 sets at 20-25, 17-25, 25-15, 25-22, 16-14.” Coach Denise Cordero

On Friday, against the Cotulla Cowgirls, the Lady Pirates went to work to win it in three sets. “Our team displayed so much energy, movement, and communication. The Pirates won in three sets 25-20, 25-19, 25-17, with tremendous teamwork.” Coach Cordero

On Saturday, Lytle hosted Poteet and fell in three sets. “We started off strong and energized from last night’s win. Unfortunately we weren’t able to get the win.
