The Lady Mustangs had a rough game against Carrizo Springs Friday night, with both the JV1 and Varsity losing. “Carrizo attacked the ball more than we did and we struggled to keep our energy up when things didn’t go our way. We need to clean up our serve receive and be smart offensively. Some great things happened as well. Things that we have been working on in practice like out of system sets were evident in this game. This proved that our girls are trusting the process and getting better every game because of it.” Coach Tara Cortinas
Varsity, JV1, and JV2 will face Pearsall at home Friday September 13th and then be on the road for their first district game against Dilley Tuesday September 17th.
