In their second game of the season, the Lady Mustangs JV1 squad beat La Pryor in two sets 25-21 and 25-6. It was a quick second set with La Pryor unable to return the ball. The Lady Mustangs took advantage of every free ball and point.
“I’m very proud of our JV1 for the energy and cohesiveness they display as a team. They did a great job of learning from set 1 and executing in set 2 by taking advantage of big opportunities like handling free balls and serve receive. I am excited to see that they are meshing as a team this early in the season. They bring energy every day, are always excited to learn and are getting so much better at playing under pressure,” said Coach Tara Gonzales.
