Lady Mustangs fight hard for big win

Natalia’s Varsity Volleyball team ended their week on a high point with a win over Lytle. They fell to Poth on Tuesday but turned it all around by Friday. Falling 22-25, 15-25, and 17-25 to Poth, the Lady Mustangs worked hard but could not come from behind to win.

When they took on the Lytle Pirates, Natalia stepped up their aggression and won 25-16, 25-16, and 25-20. They shut down Lytle’s attempts to control the pace and rallied to keep the score in their favor.

“It was a great week of tough competitor volleyball. We put up a great fight with Poth, and had a ton of opportunities to learn and be better. Saturday against Lytle we came out ready to play longtime rivals. The Lady Mustangs really did a great job of playing at a consistent level and executing some new things we have been practicing. The Lady Mustangs will play at home against Karnes City this Saturday and then Tuesday night is Parents Night against Cotulla.
