Lady Mustangs defensive battle made Marion work hard

The Lady Mustangs came out strong to win the first set against Marion but their offense could not keep up in the last three sets. It was their defense that kept them alive and made Marion work hard for their win. Set scores: 25-21, 17-25, 20-25, 22-25.
“This was a competitive and fun game to watch. This was our best defensive game yet, and we are excited to see more of this from our girls. Our passing game was one of our strengths and our girls were not afraid to be aggressive at the net. I am proud of their fearless effort tonight and the fight they had each set,” said Coach Tamara Bednorz.
