The JV1 Lady Mustangs went 1-1 last week after facing Poth and Dilley. They are now 4-2 in district and 6-10 overall. They are steadily improving this season and are working on winning every game in the second half of district.
Facing the Pirates in Natalia, the JV1 team made them work harder than they expected for the win. Natalia kept the games close but Poth won 25-21 and 25-22. This was a great game for Natalia as the Poth JV is nearly as strong as their varsity.

Friday night in Dilley, the Lady Mustangs worked hard and beat the Wolves 2-1. Winning the first set 25-15, they lost the second 19-25. That loss fired them back up to win the final set 15-10.

The JV1 team is scheduled to face West Campos on Friday and in Cotulla on October 5th.
