JV Warhorses steal game from Edison

The JV Warhorses came out strong and had a great game against Edison on February 18th. In the 9-3 win, the two Warhorse pitchers, Evan Priest and Mando Gutierrez only allowed six hits the entire game.
The Warhorses took the lead in the first inning and kept scoring runs nearly every inning. The first run came after M. Gutierrez stole his way around the bases and then stole home. Jacob Barron walked and Evan Priest hit a double to bring Clayton Brown to bat. Brown hit a single and Barron ran home. Isaiah Romero came into run for catcher Brown and Robert Ramirez hit a single stop for their second out and third run by Priest. The inning ended 3-0. Edison earned 2 runs in the second and the score remained 3-2 until the bottom of the third when Devine would score two more when both Kannon Ramirez and R. Ramirez stole home with M. Gutierrez at bat.
The fourth inning started 5-2 and Edison earned a single run while Devine earned four more to end the game 9-3. Priest stole home and then K. Ramirez hit a single to allow Elia Ghesellini to run home. Xsavior hit a line drive to the right field and R. Ramirez scored. The final Warhorse run came when K. Ramirez stole home.

Romero 1 stolen base. R. Ramirez 2 runs, 2 hits, 1 walk, 2 stolen bases. K. Ramirez 2 runs, 2 hits, 2 RBIs, 4 stolen bases. Ghesellini 1 run.
