The Natalia Junior Varsity Mustangs kicked off their 2019 season at home last Thursday evening. Natalia dominated every aspect of the game en route to a 28-0 shut-out victory.
“We played a great football team vs a good Cole team,” Natalia JV Coach Jeff Terry said. “Our defense did a great job of getting the shut-out and playing great team defense. Offensively, the line did a great job opening the holes for our athletes in the backfield.”
Natalia scored their touchdowns credit to RB Elijah Banda who had one rushing touchdown, Nate Banda who had one rushing touchdown, QB Ryan Rizo who accounted for one rushing as well as connecting with Tanner Crone on one receiving touchdown.
The JV Mustangs look to improve to 2-0 this week as they travel to Universal City to battle the Randolph Ro-Hawks at 5:30 p.m. this Thursday.
