JV Lady Pirates play hard against Poth

The JV Lady Pirates return serve.

Tuesday in Poth, the JV Lady Pirates played in a touch match. They played hard and nearly took the first set from Poth at 23-25. They dropped the second set 12-25 but still played hard despite the score.
“Serving, which has been the strongest asset for the JV Pirates, was not as dominant as in the past two victories. Even with their serving woes, the girls fought hard throughout the entire match, and nearly took the first set I am so proud of this team,” said Coach Jay Tope.
The JV will be at home this Friday against Dilley and travel to Natalia on October 19th.
