The JV Lady Mustangs took on Nixon Smiley on Monday and it was a great win for the JV team. Now 2-5 for the season, they face Jourdanton on December 7th for their first district game at home.
Facing Nixon-Smiley after a short break from the Stockdale tournament, the JV was ready to play again. They stopped Nixon from scoring in the second quarter to lead 17-11 at the half. They continued to play hard and won the game 33-24. Addison Crowther earned a triple-double!
Abby Fulton 10 points, Val Rios 4 points, Marissa Castro 2 points, DJ Fernandez 2 points, Crowther 12 points, Anaya Jones 1 point, and Jovi Velasquez 2 points.
