Devine JV Warhorse Cross Country team finished with 25 points to win the team championship at Devine Golf Course last Wednesday. Runner-up Natalia had 30 points.
Leading the way for the Horses was Stephen Culver with a third place overall finish. Chris Sanidad, Jason Sanidad, Seth DeLeon, and Enrique Midobuche also placed in the top 10.
“The boys ran in a pack, which was good to see,” said Head Coach Hannah Thompson. “This group works hard every week so it was good to see their hard work pay off with a championship plaque.”
