JV Horses 2nd place at district track

Devine’s JV Warhorse track team snagged second place last week at the District 29-4A meet at Warhorse Stadium. Somerset topped all teams with a 221-point performance while the Warhorses smashed third place YMLA who finished with 62. Fox Tech was fourth with 35 points.
Earning gold medals for the Warhorses was Kristofer Aguirre, Nate Ramirez, Logan Camarillo, and Eric Guerra.
Silver medal winners were Aguirre, Ramirez, Camarillo, Gus Puente, Marcus Rodriguez, Seth DeLeon, Kaiveri Alvarez, Jesse House, Rafael Estala, and Juan David Rendon.
Bronze medalists were Aguirre, Puente, Estala, Jordan Rodriguez and Brody Radicke.
Leading the Warhorses in overall team points was Nate Ramirez with 22 followed closely by Kristofer Aguirre (20) and Logan Camarillo (18).
