JV Arabian and Warhorse XC season marches toward District 29-4A meet

Devine’s JV Arabian and Warhorses took one-step closer to competing for the final time of the season at the District 29-4A Meet on October 16. The district’s meet is held at City of Devine Golf Course beginning at 9:00am.
The Arabians performed very well with Rebecca Mares, Shelby Joslin, Corinne Fowler, and Allie Dugosh all finishing in the top 20. Trinity Black continues to make great strides this season bumping all the way up to 37th place.
I am proud of what these young ladies have accomplished this season. It is nice to see their times continually going down each week. They have a week and a half of practice left and they will make the most of their opportunity to continue improving.
The Warhorses with not enough members to qualify as a team have also shown considerable improvement over the last three months. They have improved steadily and will continue to do so.
