Joe Ramon, age 75 of Natalia, Texas passed away Friday, January 18, 2019 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Ramon and Lydia C. Sanchez; stepdad, Jimmy Sanchez.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Wheeler; sons, Basil Ramon and wife Roceli, Ray Wheeler and wife Leslie, and Buddy Wheeler and wife Robyn; daughter, Lara Ramon; brothers, Richard Ramon and wife Brenda, Juan Alameda, and Tony Alameda and wife Julie; sisters, Celia Martinez, Matilde Acosta and husband George, Belinda Gonzales and husband Sonny, and Elisa Yzquierdo; eight grandchildren, Brandon, Michael and wife Laura, Katherine, Sabrina, Emily, Jasmine, Bo, and Duke; three great-grandchildren, Rilynn, Gauge, and Elaina.
Funeral service will be held Monday, February 4, 2019 at 10:00 am in the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at 1:45 pm at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. There will be no visitation at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine prior to service.
Family has requested memorials can be made to the Natalia Church of Christ, 304 Pearson St., Natalia, Texas 78059.
