Isabel M. Gonzales, of La Coste, passed away on October 15, 2019 in Castroville at the age of 68 years. Isabel was born in Castroville on April 12, 1951, one of eight children of Gerardo Morales and Severa Cadena Morales.
Isabel was a daycare provider for many years at Colonial Farms Daycare Center in Lytle. She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
Survivors include her children, Monica Zepeda of Castroville, Willie Zepeda and wife Julie Schott of Hondo, and Bianca Gonzales of La Coste; grandchildren, Aubrie Zepeda, Jaymes Duran, Brett Zepeda, Michael Zepeda, Maurida Zepeda, Geoffrey Zepeda, Rey Zepeda, Malerie Zepeda, Antonio Rivera, Jaylin Zepeda, Jazmyn Rivera and Alyssa Zepeda; siblings, Abelino Reyes of Beaumont, Amelia Reyes of Vidalia, Georgia, Abelia Lombard of Plano and Margie Martinez and husband, Juan, of La Coste; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Isabel was preceded in death by her parents, Gerardo and Severa Morales; son, Raynaldo Zepeda; brothers, Anselmo Reyes, Delfino Reyes and an infant brother.
Visitation will be Monday, October 21, 2019 starting at 5:00 pm at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, with the Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in La Coste. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Cemetery.
