Frank Martinez Ybarra, 78 of Lytle, Texas passed away on August 25th, 2020 at his residence. He was born October 10, 1941 to the late Faustino Ybarra and Isabel M. Ybarra. Frank was married to the love of his life Cruz Ybarra for 55 years, who survives him. Frank worked and retired from City Public Service after 35 years. Frank was a quiet man, but he enjoyed the outdoors, and spending time with family for Sunday dinners before his health started to decline.
Frank is survived by his children: Donna Ramirez (Mark Ramirez); Isabel Gomez (William Gomez); Frank Ybarra, Jr. (Sophie); David Ybarra and Robert Ybarra (Tricia); grandchildren, Nina Montanez (David), Ariana Ramirez, Alexandria Ramirez, Andrew Gomez (Jasmin), Felicia Massiate (Joe), Isaiah Gomez, Moriah Gomez, Joshua Ybarra, Garrett Ybarra, Shelby Ybarra, Christopher Ybarra, Ethan Ybarra, Benjamin Ybarra, Nomar Ybarra, Alomar Ybarra and Danys Ybarra; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Massiate, Julie Massiate, Josiah Gomez and Elijah Gomez as well as other family members (Rose Mejia, Alice Ybarra, Gina Barcenez). He was preceded in death by his brothers Alfredo Ybarra, Pedro Ybarra and great-grandson Luca Montanez.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020 from 5pm-7pm; Rosary will be recited at 7pm at Trevino Funeral Home, Palo Alto Rd., San Antonio, TX. Procession will depart Thursday, September 3rd, 2020 for a 10:00am Mass at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, in Lytle, TX. Interment will follow to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Somerset, TX.
