Francisco Pedroza

Francisco V. Pedroza (Frank), of San Antonio, Texas and formerly Devine, Texas, earned his wings to be with our Lord on March 3, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on April 2, 1947 and was the first-born child of Ildefonso and Beatrice Pedroza, of Natalia, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ildefonso and Beatrice Pedroza; sister, Mary Alice; brothers-in-law, Herbert Martinez and Larry Gutierrez; and his first wife, Evangelina (Eva) Pedroza.
He is survived by his wife, Terry S. Pedroza; daughter, Paula Christine Pedroza Ozer; stepchildren, Rene Ramirez (Carrie), Isaac Ramirez (Ruth), and Marlene Ramirez-Koch (Eric); grandchildren, Matthew James Pedroza, Eva Ozer; step-grandchildren, Ryan, Zack, Ethan and Olivia Ramirez, Payton Pitts, Tristan Lambardo, and Victoria and Elijah Rangel; brothers and sisters, Jose M. Pedroza (Oralia), Roger Pedroza (Ofilia), Rosemary Martinez, Gloria Lamoureux (Michael), Sylvia Gutierrez, Margaret Obaya (Roy); sister-in-law, Elva Serbin; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Frank was a 1965 graduate of Natalia High School and was very proud to have been a member of the very first Natalia Mustang Band. He was a Vietnam Veteran Purple Heart Medal recipient, Spec 5 1st Cavalry. Frank was a longtime volunteer fireman for the Devine Volunteer Fire Department, a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Devine, a member of the Devine Optimist Club, and a Fourth-Degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Natalia, Texas. He was a retired Special Delivery Mailman from the U.S. Postal Service in San Antonio, Texas.
Frank had a passion for music and had a gift for playing many instruments. He especially enjoyed playing the guitar and keyboard for his family and friends. Frank was a friend to everyone. He enjoyed talking and meeting new people all the time, and he will be dearly missed.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with recitation of the rosary beginning at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Bosco Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, followed by interment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
