Felipa Haro

Felipa Haro was laid to peaceful eternal rest on March 8, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born August 23, 1934 to Atanasio and Atilana Loza.
She was preceded in death by her husband Maurilio Haro and son Michael Haro.
She is survived by her son Victor (Patti) Haro, daughters Nelda Chowdhury (Tanmay), and Elsa Haro, as well as five granddaughters, and four great granddaughters all of whom she loved immensely.

Felipa accepted the Lord in 1980. She was a member of Bethania Baptist Church in Devine.
She loved to sing and would keep her hymn book near where she sat and sang hymns from the book.
She enjoyed watching evangelical programs on television daily and would repeat how Charles Stanley would say “Listen. Now Listen to this”.
(She would also comment on one who would yell too much)
“Ay no, ese grita mucho”
Intimate graveside services were officiated by Pastor Jesse Martinez and closed with family singing Amazing Grace accompanied by her son, Victor, playing his guitar for her one last time.
