Edward “Dusty” Lacy Moore of Devine, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the age of 74.
Dusty was born December 14, 1942 in Galveston to James and Edith (Nolan) Moore.
He is survived by his brother Tommy and wife Connie of Devine, numerous nieces and nephews, and too many friends to mention.
Dusty is preceded by his parents, James and Edith; brothers, Everett “Pistol” and Charles; sisters, Billy Ruth, Ruby Brieden and Edith Rupp.
A memorial service will be held Friday, July 28, 2017 at 10:00 am at the First United Methodist Church in Devine.
Per his wishes, his body was donated to science so as he put it “maybe somebody can learn something from this old body.”
There will be no visitation at the Hurley Funeral Home in Devine prior to the service.
Per the request of his family, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
