First annual Red, White, and Blue cook-off and dance hosted by VFW Post 3966, featuring the Nick Lawrence Band, will be held on Saturday, November 9. A car and Harley show has been added as well for the daytime portion.
The cook-off will consist of half chicken, pork ribs, and chili. There is a $50.00 entry fee, sign up at 8:30 a.m. Come test your skills against hometown favorites! If you have the taste buds to pick a winner, come and judge the cook-off.
Car and Harley Show sign up begins at 10:00 a.m. with a $20 entry fee.
Dart and pool $15 per person.
Trophies will be given out as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes.
The Nick Lawrence Band will kick off the country music at 9:00 pm and will rock the house until 1:00 am. Show your moves on the dance floor or just sit and listen to great music. There is a $7.00 cover charge at the door.
All money goes to the VFW Post 3966 relief fund to help our veterans.
