Devine Tennis does great at Uvalde Varsity Tournament

The Devine Varsity Tennis Team traveled to Uvalde for their opening tournament.
Despite missing several varsity teammates, due to basketball, they were able to place 5th out of 16 teams. Four of our varsity players were able to win medals while enduring cold temperatures Friday and a two hour rain delay on Saturday.
“Our kids did such a good job. They worked hard and never quit,” said Coach Melanie Sostarich. “I’m looking forward to the rest of the season. My goal is to improve our skills every week, play and win as many matches as we can and win the District Tournament.”
