Devine Police Report September 8-13

Sept. 8
3:43 PM – Complainant at the Devine Golf Association reported a verbal disturbance with a member. Officer spoke to both parties, who agreed to resolve the issue.
3:57 PM – A complainant in the 100 block of S. Teel Dr. reported he last saw his company/personal vehicle around 11:30 AM. Complainant advised the vehicle has a lien but that he is up to date on payments.
10:48 PM – Complainant at Super Suds reported customers not wanting to leave. A member waited until finished using the machine. All was okay.
Sept. 9
5:15 AM – Goodwill donation shed on Windy Knoll damaged. Photos taken of damage to the door.
10:55 AM – A student at Devine High School reported that her cell phone was taken on Sept. 8. The student reported on Sept. 11 that she found the phone.
Sept. 10
3:47 AM – Officers assisted DPS with a motor vehicle vs horse accident on FM 3176.
6:34 AM – Complainant in the 500 block of N. Upson Dr. reported someone knocking on the door and ringing the doorbell then leaving. Officer patrolled area, unable to locate. Complainant also requested extra patrol by residence throughout the night.
4:56 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 200 block of E. Colonial Pkwy. One male subject, a convicted felon, was found to have a handgun within reach, and to be in possession of marijuana and meth and was jailed. The handgun was also in reach of another male subject who was a convicted felon, who was also jailed.
4:58 PM – A male subject was served a Devine PD warrant and was jailed.
10:25 PM – Officers assisted a Medina County Sheriff’s Deputy in the 700 block of Hwy. 132 N. with an 18-year-old male subject who was having suicidal thoughts.
Sept. 11
4:33 AM – Complainant in the 700 block of King Ave. reported a male subject wearing a Spurs jersey and blue jeans fired two shots into the air at an older white trailer with a white truck in the front. Unable to locate.
6:50 PM – A male subject was looking into a car in the Dairy Queen parking lot. The subject’s keys were locked in the vehicle.
7:40 PM – A juvenile in the 800 block of King Ave. was shooting a BB gun, a violation of a city ordinance. Officer counseled the juvenile.
Sept. 12
11:59 AM – Complainant in the 300 block of W. Benton Ave. found a smoke pipe in his front yard.
2:06 PM – A male subject on a bicycle was stopped by police in the 200 block of N. Sayers Dr. after the subject saw police and began to evade. The subject was found to be in possession of meth and was jailed.
3:09 PM – Complainant at Amigos Country Corner reported a female subject drinking on location refused to leave. The female was given a courtesy ride to CR 7711.
6:37 PM – Vehicle stopped in the 300 block of Hwy. 132 N. stopped for a traffic violation. The male driver was found to have a parole violation warrant.
Sept. 13
12:22 PM – Vehicle stopped in the 1200 block of W. Hondo Ave. for a traffic violation. The male driver was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A female passenger was found to be in possession of THC. Both were jailed.
3:09 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of W. Benton Ave. brought in loose marijuana found in the couple’s yard.
