Sept. 3
2:45 PM – Officer dispatched to Walmart in reference to an 18-wheeler parked in the parking lot not allowing other vehicle to pass. Both semi and trailer parked parallel to Oakhill Dr. but over multiple parking spots.
3:37 PM – Major accident on Hwy. 173.
6:03 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of W. Moore Ave. reported her ex-husband was on location. The ex-husband was asked to leave; all was okay.
8:32 PM – A juvenile male in the 300 block of Hayden Ave. was reported as a runaway and entered into NCIC/TCIC. The juvenile returned on Sept. 4 at 7:02 PM and was removed from the system.
11:07 PM – Verbal disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend in the 300 block of Hwy. 132 N. Subjects separated for the night.
Sept. 4
2:34 AM – Traffic stop on W. Dilley Ave. for expired registration and failure to use turn signal. Vehicle was impounded.
5:21 AM – Traffic stop on IH-35 S. resulted in vehicle impound due to driving without a license. The driver was cited and released.
9:47 AM – Officer dispatched to IH-35 SB in reference to an 18-wheeler having trouble maintaining lane; unable to locate.
2:56 PM – An 18-wheeler was removed from the roadway on Oakhill Dr.
4:15 PM – Officer assisted a Medina County Sheriff’s deputy with a male subject resisting arrest related to a disturbance call in the 200 block of PR 6620.
7:25 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of Hester Ave. found two spent .380 shell casings in the parking lot.
Sept. 5
12:32 AM – Officer dispatched to the 200 block of Breeze Dr. in reference to loud music on property. Officer made contact and advised subject to turn down music.
12:23 PM – Vehicle parked in handicap spot in the 100 block of E. Colonial Pkwy. without a handicapped placard.
5:32 PM – 18-wheelers on Oakhill Dr. creating a traffic hazard. Officer tagged one semi with a violation notice.
Sept. 6
2:22 AM – Two males asleep in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy.
6:35 AM – Complainant advised she lost her wallet in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy., possibly in a basket in the parking lot. Officer made location and complainant had left the wallet at the register. Officer recovered the wallet and returned it to the complainant at 8:00 AM.
7:16 PM – Officers dispatched to the 100 block of Covey Ln. in reference to a possible vehicle being stolen. After investigation incident determined to be civil issue.
8:06 PM – A male subject in the 500 block of Rossville Rd. was found to be in possession of a controlled substance less than 1g and was jailed.
9:00 PM – A female subject at Walmart was cited and released for theft over $100 but less than $750.
Sept. 7
12:33 AM – DPS in pursuit of a green 4-door Toyota coming from Hwy. 57. Vehicle exited at mile marker 114 onto east access road (Hwy. 132). Spike deployed at IH-35 overpass. Bailout occurred in the 1000 block of Hwy. 132 just south of the city.
12:45 AM – Vehicles blocking mailboxes at the Devine Post Office.
