Devine Police Report Nov. 15-21

Nov. 15
9:02 AM – Assault by threat – incident on Devine transportation (school bus) towards minor female student.
5:00 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of Live Oak Dr. stated she found her front door unlocked. Residence was cleared. Complainant stated nothing looked to be missing. No visible forced entry; all was okay.
8:14 PM – Complainant stated a white 18-wheeler traveling with no rear lights; unable to locate.
10:50 PM – Officers dispatched to Hwy. 173 N. in reference to a black Tahoe driving recklessly toward Devine. Unable to locate.
11:24 PM – Officers dispatched to IH-35 SB in reference to a gray Volkswagen whose driver was not letting two females out of the vehicle. Vehicle was stopped by Frio County at mile marker 105.
11:30 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of N. Transportation Dr. The male driver was found to be driving without a license and was cited and released.
Nov. 16
1:12 AM – Complainant in the 1000 block of Malone Dr. stated she thought someone was trying to break into her apartment between 6:30 PM and 12:00 AM. No entry was made.
2:18 PM – Officers assisted the Medina County Sheriff’s Office on CR 5710 in locating a female that possibly matched description of missing person. Unable to locate on CR 5710. Female was located in the 700 block of Ingram Rd. Female was not missing person. Courtesy ride given to CR 664.
3:48 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of Libold Dr. stated that neighbor’s music was too loud. Officers made contact with the neighbor and music was lowered.
4:01 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of Oak Hill Dr. to state an 18-wheeler almost hit some cars while attempting to park. Officers spoke to driver and made them aware. All was okay.
10:20 PM – Officer was informed while on side job that kids were running on E. Hondo Ave. in front of Rick’s and making vehicles run off the road. Unable to locate; no one was on the roadway.
Nov. 17
12:15 AM – Officers dispatched to the 200 block of College Ave. in reference to a physical disturbance with multiple people involved. Unknown suspects left the scene. No charges were filed on anyone at this time. Assisted by DPS.
1:35 AM – Complainant in the 600 block of Ingram Rd. stated a four-door Hyundai struck his brick mailbox and damaged his irrigation system and plants, causing $4,000 in damage.
12:07 PM – Officers assisted Border Patrol with locating a white four-door dodge that ran a checkpoint. Officers patrolled the area; unable to locate.
4:34 PM – Officers dispatched to IH-35 NB access road in reference to a wrong-way driver on the NB access road. Unable to locate.
5:33 PM – A male subject was on location in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. asking people for money. All was okay.
7:30 PM – Officer dispatched to the 200 block of E. Hondo Ave. in reference to a male subject in a wheelchair on the roadway. The male was advised to stay on the sidewalk.
8:09 PM – Officer dispatched to the 300 block of Hwy. 132 N. in reference to an occupied black vehicle parked behind the complex. The vehicle was sitting blacked out for 20 minutes. Complainant advised vehicle was on county road behind the County building. Unable to locate.
Nov. 18
9:07 AM – Burglary of a vehicle in the 300 block of Fox Run. Owner’s wallet was taken from vehicle. Wallet was located and returned.
11:00 AM – Disturbance in the 300 block of N. Washington Dr.
12:10 PM – Burglary of a vehicle in the 300 block of Fox Run. Custom sunglasses taken, valued at $300.

Nov. 19
6:05 AM – Burglary of a vehicle in the 300 block of Mockingbird Ln. Vehicle was entered and rummaged through. No forced entry.
7:05 AM – Burglary of a vehicle in the 400 block of Mockingbird Ln. Complainant advised two vehicles at location were entered. No forced entry.
7:17 AM – Burglary of a vehicle in the 400 block of Mockingbird Ln. No forced entry.
7:21 AM – Burglary of a vehicle in the 300 block of Mockingbird Ln. No forced entry. Complainant advised her son’s vehicle was also entered.
10:07 AM – Burglary of a vehicle in the 400 block of Hermitage Lp. Laptop and iPad taken.
11:49 PM – Burglary of a vehicle in the 300 block of Mockingbird Ln. No forced entry. Items recovered and returned to owner.
12:00 PM – Burglary of a vehicle in the 300 block of Harrelton Cir. Firearm taken out of vehicle.
2:40 PM – Officers dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Hondo Ave. in reference to a female possibly shoplifting. Unable to locate. Officers made location to both stores. Neither of the clerks called it in. Unable to locate.
2:45 PM – Complainant on N. Bright Dr. reported a vehicle with a green rear, brown hood, and gray door parked behind business. Unable to locate.
3:20 PM – Prescription medication belonging to a male subject who resides in the 1000 block of Hwy. 132 S. was found.
4:00 PM – Burglary of a vehicle in the 300 block of W. Colonial Pkwy.
5:05 PM – Burglary of a vehicle in the 300 block of Fox Run. No items taken at this time.
Nov. 20
12:58 PM – Major accident in the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave.
4:39 PM – A 13-year-old juvenile male ran into a store in the 100 block of S. Teel Dr. and told clerk he was almost kidnapped. All was okay; juvenile admitted to officer he made up the story.
6:09 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Hayden Ave. stated that loud music was coming from another house on the block. Contact was made with the homeowner, who was asked to turn down the music and did.
11:38 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of S. Teel Dr. stated a subject was tapping on the entrance door. Officers made contact with the subject in the 100 block of E. Hondo Ave.; all was okay.
Nov. 21
7:45 AM – A male subject in the 300 block of N. Commercial Dr. was burning in a barrel. Fire extinguished.
10:33 AM – Older model black Cadillac with a young male driving around the neighborhood of Hickory Hwy. Contact was made; all was okay.
3:06 PM – Complainant reported loud music coming from a home on Hayden Ave. Officer made contact with the homeowner and advised him to turn the music down.
3:46 PM – Debris in roadway in the 1000 block of E. Hondo Ave. Officer removed.
4:40 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Hickory Hwy. found a prescription bottle in yard.
4:53 PM – Major accident in the 300 block of E. Hondo Ave.
6:43 PM – Officer dispatched to the 1200 block of Hondo Ave. in reference to a white Honda Pilot. Officer located vehicle and followed; did not observe any moving violations. Followed vehicle to convenience store and made contact with driver, who stated he was fatigued and his wife was going to drive.
7:35 PM – Officers dispatched to the 200 block of N. Teel Dr. in reference to a black van outside a beauty salon that appeared suspicious. All was okay.
9:45 PM – Burglary of a vehicle in the 300 block of Fox Run. Unknown suspect broke into vehicle and took the radio. No other items were missing.
