Devine Police Report May 31-June 6

May 31
8:22 AM – Officer provided a courtesy ride to one adult male and one adult female.
11:14 PM – Officers dispatched to the 200 block of Zig Zag Ave. in reference to a possible intoxicated driver. Located driver, not intoxicated.
June 1
4:03 AM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of LC Martin Dr. in reference to two unknown males banging on an apartment door. Unable to locate.
June 2
1:38 AM – Officer assisted DPS with a major accident on CR 7711.
12:03 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of Corley Dr. reported two males on property of a vacant house trying to dig up metal clothes line. Officer spoke with owner of the property via public service, who requested patrol by.
2:30 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of Davis reported his son was being aggressive towards family and throwing items in the house. The subject resisted arrest and was jailed.
6:52 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of Renfro Dr. reported a disturbance with another female complainant. All was okay; both separated.
8:40 PM – Complainant in the 200 block of W. College Ave. advised that a male subject came to the residence and began arguing with his son.
9:00 PM – Officers dispatched to the 600 block of Howell Ave. in reference to a loud noise being played. Subject was advised to turn down music.
9:07 PM – Officer dispatched to the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. in reference to a gold car in the parking lot, possibly male and female crying. Officer made contact with subject, who advised she lost her grandmother and was emotional. All was okay.
9:55 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of DuBose Dr. advised that his wife observed what she thought was a flashlight shining through the bedroom window.
June 4
10:05 AM – Complainant on Hwy. 173 reported a dark silver cab pulling a trailer with large pipes ran two stoplights. Unable to locate.
11: 36 AM – Complainant came into the police department and advised he saw dark smoke coming from behind Pico’s. Officer made location in the 100 block of N. Commercial Dr. and contacted resident to put out two barrels of trash.
2:24 PM – Manager in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. requested a criminal trespass warning be issued to a male subject. Subject left prior to officer’s arrival.
3:05 PM – High water on Hwy. 132. TxDot notified.
5:08 PM – Item in the roadway on S. Teel Dr.
11:40 PM – Complainant lost his wallet at a local business. A male subject picked up the wallet and made a charge on the complainant’s credit card. The subject was jailed.
June 5
1:30 AM – Possible disturbance in the 400 block of N. Teel Dr.
1:32 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of E. Hondo Ave. advised there was a Kia vehicle broken down in front of the bank with a male driver sitting outside. Officer made location. The car belonged to Enterprise and was waiting for an employee to come look at the car. Everything was okay.
4:55 PM – Report of a gold Toyota in the 200 block of W. Hondo Ave. with a female inside asleep. Unable to locate; advised address does not exist.
5:14 PM – Officers dispatched to the 500 block of W. Hondo Ave. in reference to a male subject asleep at a table. The subject was okay and released to a relative.
7:43 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of Crouch Ave. advised someone threw screws in the driveway and had possession tampered with door. Complainant did not know when the door was tampered with.
8:00 PM – Complainant’s car was hit by a white Chevy Silverado while the complainant was in Dollar General. No license plate for the pickup was obtained.
June 6
2:20 AM – The Medina County Sherriff’s Office issued a BOLO on a dark, possibly black 4-door vehicle involved in a suspicious activity call in the county and possibly involved in burglaries. The vehicle will have front end damage from ramming a gate. Unable to locate.
7:55 AM – Officer dispatched to S. Transportation Dr. in reference to a male subject walking near the peanut factory. Unable to locate.
8:14 AM – Officer observed a silver truck in the parking lot of a business in the 500 block of W. Hondo Ave. Officer called the registered owner, who advised the truck broke down at the Post Office and her son was trying to get it home.
7:25 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of Webb Ave. advised a Hispanic male told him he was going to be kidnapped. Complainant advised his sister and her boyfriend, then left with the Hispanic male in a newer model blue car. Possible prank.
8:21 PM – Report of an 18-wheeler with “Laredo” on the cab all over the road on IH-35 SB. Unable to locate.
11:08 PM – Complainant in the 200 block of W. Moore Ave. advised a neighbor was using profanity toward complainant and complainant’s family and would not let them pass on the stairs to get into their apartment.
