Devine Police Report May 25-30


May 25

11:48 AM – Verbal disturbance between two male subjects over a parking spot. All was okay.
12:14 PM – Complainant reported a male subject on location who was refusing to leave.
1:08 PM – Complainant in the 200 block of Hwy. 132 N. reported a tan double axel trailer missing. $5,000 value.
3:34 PM – Complainant reported a red 18-wheeler unable to maintain lanes on IH-35 NB. Unable to locate.
4:14 PM – Officer responded to a suspicious activity call about an adult female and male. The female subject was jailed on a Guadalupe County warrant.
5:43 PM – Officer forwarded the Medina County Sheriff’s Office a theft that occurred in Medina County.
8:55 PM – Officers dispatched to the 700 block of W. Colonial Pkwy. in reference to sparks coming from a utility pole. Located pole; appeared peacock flew into pole. No sparks coming from pole. Dispatch notified electric company.
11:05 PM – Officer responded to the 100 block of N. Teel Dr. for a minor accident. A female subject was jailed for DWI/DUI.
May 26
12:04 PM – Officer dispatched to the 700 block of Jack Nicklaus in reference to a truck blocking the roadway. All was okay; the truck was parked on the side of the road and vehicles were still able to pass.
4:13 PM – Verbal disturbance between complainant and her boyfriend in the 200 block of W. Benton Ave. The male subject was given a courtesy ride to a relative’s residence.
7:30 PM – Officers assisted the MCSO with a male subject causing problems with customers at a store in the 100 block of IH-35 N.
8:25 PM – Officers dispatched to a store in the 100 block of IH-35 S. in reference to the male subject from the previous entry. The male subject refused a ride and departed the location. All was okay.
9:40 PM – Complainant reported the male subject from the previous entries was on the roadway on SB IH-35 near mile marker 123. The subject was not in the roadway when officers made contact and refused a ride. All was okay.
10:43 PM – Officers assisted the MCSO at Chaparral Ford with the male subject from previous entries.
11:23 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of Mobile Parkway reported hearing noises in his back yard. Officer patrolled the area; all was okay.
11:40 PM – Officer initiated contact with a black Mustang occupied by two subjects that was parked at Warhorse Stadium. All was okay.
11:55 PM – Officers discovered four juveniles walking in the 700 block of W. Colonial Pkwy. They were transported to PD, cited for a curfew violation, and picked up by guardians.
May 27
3:00 AM – Complainant in the 200 block of W. Benton Ave. reported that her ex-boyfriend went to their house and left prior to her arrival.
5:18 PM – Complainant reported suspicious male subjects walking in the Devine area who were possibly solicitors. Unable to locate.
5:19 PM – Officers dispatched to the 700 block of Curtis Ave. in reference to a possible disturbance. All was okay, father was just knocking on son’s bedroom door.
11:29 PM – Officer assisted MCSO with a verbal disturbance in the 100 block of CR 668.
11:42 PM – Officer assisted MCSO with a physical disturbance between a male subject and a female subject in the 1100 block of CR 7711. The female subject departed the location.
May 28
12:46 AM – Complainant reported a black Nissan pickup all over the roadway in the 200 block of Hwy. 132 S. Complainant advised vehicle turned onto E. Coker Ave. Officers located the vehicle parked in the 100 block of E. Coker Ave. All was okay.
5:38 PM – Officer dispatched to the 200 block of S. Teel Dr. in reference to an individual dumping trash into a dumpster without permission. All trash removed.
7:33 PM – Officer dispatched to the 200 block of Zig Zag Ave. in reference to two male subjects walking with a TV and a fan. All was okay.
May 29
12:22 PM – Officers stood by for a cash seizure at a business in the 100 block of E. Colonial Pkwy.
5:52 PM – Complainant advised she believed there was a female who was shoplifting at the Helotes Walmart. AP was advised of the situation.
9:15 PM – Complainant in the 900 block of N. Teel Dr. reported a four-door sedan repeatedly driving by. Vehicle no longer on location.
10:31 PM – Complainant in the 1100 block of Warhorse Dr. advised the door and window to a travel trailer on his property were open. No signs of forced entry and no items observed to be missing. Trailer belongs to complainant’s friend, and complainant will make contact.
May 30
12:17 AM – Officers attempted to make contact with a male subject in reference to a white 2006 Ford pickup found in Wilson County that was registered to the subject. Negative contact. Officers notified the WCSO and left a voice mail for the male subject.
2:47 AM – Complainant in the 1300 block of Libold Dr. advised an unknown person knocked several times on the door and the motion lights were on. Officers searched the yard and area; unable to locate.
