Devine Police Report May 24-30

May 24
4:54 AM – Report of a male subject sitting on overpass at Chacon Creek. Officer located male in front of Brown Chevrolet. All was okay.
May 25
1:11 AM – Complainant in the 600 block of Hondo Ave. advised a disturbance between brothers. One male subject left prior to officer’s arrival.
12:20 PM – Officer dispatched to Windy Knoll Dr. in reference to a red pickup and a car of unknown color speeding up and down the road. Unable to locate.
1:29 PM – Officer assisted DPS with a major accident on CR 773.
5:25 PM – Officer dispatched to the 300 block of Colonial Pkwy. in reference to several vehicles parked and blocking driveways. The area was patrolled; no driveways were blocked.
9:35 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of Sollock Dr. reported a suspicious vehicle. Unable to locate.
May 26
8:10 AM – Officer dispatched to Tractor Supply in reference to an older model silver 4-door pickup parked on location for approximately 30 minutes. Vehicle left prior to officer’s arrival.
8:19 AM – Complainant from San Antonio reported that red/maroon paint was spray painted on the passenger side of her vehicle between the hours of 5:00 PM and 7:30 AM while she was visiting family.
9:05 AM – Complainant in the 400 block of Webb Ave. reported that red/maroon paint was spray painted on the passenger side of two vehicles between the hours of 10:00 PM and 7:30 AM.
3:00 PM – Officers assisted with traffic control on IH-35 SB for a vehicle with a blowout.
9:31 PM – Officer dispatched to the 400 block of Wedgewood in reference to loud noise coming from a residence. Officer made contact and the music was turned down.
10:10 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of DuBose Dr. reported a suspicious small mini van seen in the area. Unable to locate.
May 27
2:03 AM – Complainant in the 300 block of DuBose Dr. reported a subject walking around with a flashlight. No description given. Officers searched the area; unable to locate.
8:03 AM – Complainant in the 100 block of Dixon Dr. believed a window screen to be damaged.
2:51 PM – Officers dispatched to the 400 block of Pilgrim Dr. in reference to a resident cleaning the yard with a machete.
6:05 PM – Complainant in the 200 block of N. Washington Dr. reported two young males under the age of 12 asking for a ride on Colonial Pkwy.
7:07 PM – Officer dispatched to the 300 block of Fox Run in reference to an assault. A male subject held a pocket knife to his girlfriend’s throat. The male subject was charged with aggravated assault – family violence and jailed.
May 28
8:15 AM – A dark gray pickup with a camper had a siren and red and blue lights flashing in the grill. The vehicle was observed being driven fast.
10:23 AM – Report of a disabled vehicle in the 200 block of E. Hondo Ave. Unable to locate.
2:28 PM – School Resource Officer was notified of two male subjects (fathers) having a verbal disagreement inside a classroom at the Intermediate school.
5:35 PM – Officers dispatched for a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 173.
May 29
3:14 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 900 block of W. Hondo Ave. The male driver was found to have a suspended license and was cited and released.
6:36 AM – Complainant reported an 18-wheeler “drilling” on side in the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. Unable to maintain a lane traveling southbound. Went to County line; unable to locate.
3:21 PM – An 18-wheeler broke down in the roadway on Teel Dr. The 18-wheeler was relocated to Adams St.
4:43 PM – Complainant reported a tanker truck disabled in the roadway in the 300 block of E. Hondo Ave. All was okay; the truck was not in the roadway.
7:00 PM – Officers dispatched to the 400 block of Corley Dr. in reference to a female wearing a gray shirt and looking under cars. Officers had to relocate to disturbance in the 500 block of Pilgrim Dr, and made contact with the female when they arrived back to Corley at 7:34 PM. The female advised she was looking for her cat. All was okay.
7:06 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Pilgrim Dr. reported a disturbance involving herself, her son, and her daughter-in-law. Parties separated.
9:23 PM – Report of an 18-wheeler in the median on IH-35 SB. The driver was located; all was okay. The front tire was being replaced.
10:28 PM – Officers dispatched to the 500 block of Ross Ave. in reference to a male subject possibly lying next to fence behind a restaurant. Officers checked the area; unable to locate.
May 30
12:07 AM – Complainant in the 100 block of S. Jamison Dr. advised she left her debit card at Gas Go. Cashier advised that the complainant took the card with her when she left.
12:54 AM – Complainant in the 500 block of Fullerton Dr. advised he could hear noises coming from the backyard, and that it has been an ongoing problem. Officers searched the area; unable to locate.
1:09 AM – Contact was made with the driver of a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Transportation Dr. The driver was buying a soda from a vending machine.
