May 18
4:30 PM – Officer observed trees being dragged by a truck in the 200 block of Hwy. 132 N. All was okay.
6:00 PM – Officer dispatched to SB IH-35 in reference to a white car all over the roadway. The car exited and went back NB prior to city limits.
6:00 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of W. Colonial Pkwy. stated a family member broke into his room and took his safe, which had a gun and loaded mags in it. Other items taken were some PS4 controllers and a bottle of an alcoholic beverage.
6:50 PM – Officer noticed two juvenile males in the street in the 700 block of Tuttle Dr., one of whom looked like a juvenile runaway. One juvenile fled the scene; both were detained. One was found to be in possession of less than 2 oz. of marijuana.
8:28 PM – Downed phone line. Devine VFD removed the line from the road, and AT&T was notified.
May 19
9:00 AM – Officer attended the Community Health Fair at the George S. Woods Community Center.
5:36 PM – Complainant reported a white F-150 all over the roadway on NB IH-35. Unable to locate.
5:55 PM – Complainant in the 1300 block of Libold reported a tan vehicle ran her off the road. Unable to locate suspect vehicle.
7:24 PM – Complainant reported a maroon sedan that was all over the road and driving in the wrong direction at one point. The vehicle was located in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. A male subject was jailed for public intoxication and possession of a dangerous drug (Xanax).
10:45 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Hayden Ave. reported her daughter ran away. The daughter was later located at a flea market.
11:40 PM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of S. Teel Dr. for suspicious activity. A male subject was taken by a boarding home.
May 20
1:50 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 1000 block of N. Transportation Dr. A male subject was cited and released for an open container of an alcoholic beverage.
2:32 PM – Officer dispatched to Warhorse Stadium in reference to two male subjects “mudding” in the parking lot. The male subjects’ IDs were forwarded to the School Resource Officer.
3:15 PM – Officer dispatched to the 300 block of N. Bright Dr. in reference to a blue car next to location. All was okay; a female was talking to a male that lived at the residence.
4:04 PM – Officer assisted DPS with traffic control on CR 770 for a 1-vehicle rollover with power lines down and trees on fire.
4:18 PM – Officer dispatched to Walmart in reference to a missing phone and Walmart device. Charges pending.
6:49 PM – Officer assisted the Medina County Sheriff’s Office in the 200 block of CR 6612 with a physical disturbance with a large number of people fighting. All was okay.
9:55 PM – Officers assisted Natalia PD with a suspicious activity call in which a female occupant was possibly being abducted in a white Chevy pickup and screaming for help. The vehicle was passing Food King. All was okay.
10:57 PM – A vehicle committed a traffic violation on FM 463 and was found to be stolen. The vehicle fled and ran out of gas. A male subject was jailed for evading arrest in a motor vehicle.
May 21
7:55 AM – Officer assisted DPS with a traffic stop on IH-35. The driver and passenger fled on foot. Eight individuals were located in the back of the truck and released to Border Patrol.
4:00 PM – A 16-year-old male subject was last seen on May 14. Entered into TCIC/NCIC.
5:20 PM – Complainant in the 700 block of Thompson reported an older two-tone Chevy truck with two occupants that kept passing by. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
8:16 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of Crouch Ave. reported a male subject damaging several items at the property.
8:20 PM – Report of a verbal disturbance between a male and female in the 400 block of Mockingbird Ln. Complainant was assaulted by his ex-wife, who left prior to officer’s arrival. Charges pending.
10:45 PM – Report of someone knocking on a window in the 700 block of Curtis Ave. Officer made location; all was okay.
May 22
2:27 AM – A vehicle on the side of the roadway in the 300 block of Cude Dr. was occupied by two subjects. A juvenile female was given a ride to her residence in the 500 block of Bowman Ave. and released to a parent.
4:42 AM – Complainant in the 500 block of Pilgrim advised on a male subject in the yard wearing camouflage. Complainant stated subject does not reside at location. Officer made contact with male subject who resides at location. All was okay.
2:00 PM – During a traffic stop in the 600 block of Hickory Hwy, a female subject was arrested on a warrant out of Atascosa Co. and taken to the Medina County Jail.
May 23
11:30 AM – Special Olympics torch run.
7:37 PM – A male subject was cited for theft of merchandise from a store in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy.
11:43 PM – Complainant in the 200 block of W. Benton Ave. advised he sees vehicles in the 200 block of the location during early morning hours. Officer advised complainant to call when he sees a vehicle.
May 24
1:20 AM – Vehicle parked on the side of city storage building in the 100 block of E. Herring Ave. All was okay.
3:30 AM – Two Medina County warrants were served on a male subject in the 600 block of Webb Ave. The subject was jailed.
