Devine Police Report July 5-11

July 5
1:40 PM – Officers dispatched to the 600 block of Davis Ave. in reference to a disturbance between a male subject and a female subject. The female wanted her property from inside of the residence and complainant advised she was grabbed by the male. Complainant got her belongings but did not want to file a report. Parties separated.
July 6
12:40 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 1200 block of W. Hondo Ave. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was jailed.
3:20 AM – Officers dispatched to Walmart for a suspicious vehicle. All was okay; just sleeping in the vehicle.
6:37 PM – Verbal disturbance between brothers in the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. Parties separated. One male was transported to Southwest General Hospital by EMS for a spider bite.
10:00 PM – Officer dispatched to Food King in reference to a vehicle on location for approximately 40 minutes. Unable to locate.
10:28 PM – Traffic accident in the 1200 block of Hondo Ave. The male driver was found to be intoxicated and was jailed.
July 7
1:28 PM – Disturbance between female complainant and her boyfriend in the 400 block of Lee Dr. No charges wished to be filed by either. Parties separated.
8:18 PM – Warrant served on a male subject in the 900 block of Transportation Dr. The subject fled on foot. Subject jailed on warrant, for possession of a controlled substance PG1 less than 1 gram, and resisting arrest.
July 8
12:59 AM – Complainant in the 400 block of Davis Ave. advised she thought she observed a person in the shed in her backyard and then someone closed the shed door. Officers cleared the backyard and two sheds. Unable to locate.
1:09 AM – Officer assisted Medina County Sheriff’s Office in the 900 block of CR 768 in reference to a female subject with a gun who fired towards her family. The family was hiding from the female.
10:18 AM – Complainant walked into PD and requested to speak to officer in reference to employee theft at Valley Mart.
12:30 PM – Complainant on IH-35 SB advised a tractor trailer tire was on the roadway. Officers removed the tire from the roadway.
11:26 PM – Officer dispatched to the 200 block of Wilson Ave. in reference to a complainant who observed a male subject walking in the area with a flashlight. Unable to locate.
July 9
1:14 PM – Black car parked in part of the roadway in the 600 block of Zigzag Ave.
1:32 PM – Complainant found a set of keys.
2:36 PM – Officers assisted the fire department with a structure fire in the 500 block of McAnnelly Ave. Ruled electrical.
2:50 PM – Complainant at Dollar Tree reported a male subject arguing with an employee.
July 10
3:30 PM – Large tree branches removed from roadway on S. Teel Dr.
7:17 PM – Complainant at Murphy USA reported a gas drive off, possibly a white Ford pickup. License plate number came back to a different vehicle.
9:03 PM – Complainant advised that while at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, a white male driving a white car appeared to be watching her.
10:51 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of N. Teel Dr. stated someone knocked on his back door. Officer searched the area.
July 11
1:36 AM – Complainant in the 500 block of N. Teel Dr. advised someone was tampering with his back door.
5:15 AM – Complainant in the 500 block of N. Teel Dr. advised he and his dad heard someone yell “Hey” at their window. Officer searched the area; unable to locate.
1:09 PM – Complainant at Murphy USA advised a vehicle was parked at the gas pumps and a male subject was selling items out of the trunk. Unable to locate.
4:50 PM – Officer was advised male subjects wearing orange were walking around the Monticello Cir. area selling solar systems without a permit.
8:24 PM – Officer assisted MCSO deputies with two male subjects armed with knives possibly threatening staff at Brown Chevrolet/Dodge.
9:20 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of N. Teel Dr. advised that unknown person(s) were attempting to break into his residence.
