Devine Police Report Jan. 4-10


Jan. 4-

11:30 AM – Complainant in the 400 block of W. Davis Ave. reported a 30ish Hispanic male in a gray car drove by twice and waved at her. Unable to locate.
12:15 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of W. Davis Ave. reported a male subject in a gray gar was pulling in and out of her driveway. Officer made contact with the subject, who was a Pizza Hut delivery driver looking for an address.
12: 43 PM – Complainant in the 700 block of Tuttle was having a verbal disturbance with her children.
5:44 PM – Report of a Hispanic male with a Dallas Cowboys jersey walking around parking lot in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy and looking into vehicles. Unable to locate.
11:15 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of N. Teel Dr. The driver was found to have a suspended license and was cited and released.
Jan. 5
1:35 AM – Traffic stop on Upson Dr. The male driver and a female passenger were jailed on a charge of manufacture/delivery PG 3< 28 grams.
Jan. 6
2:30 AM – Officer dispatched to Rosewood in reference to complainant’s ex-husband on location. The complainant was not on location. The ex-husband was picked up by his father.
3:22 AM – Complainant in the 1000 block of E. Hondo Ave. reported a suspicious male who appeared lost. Officer made location and gave the subject a courtesy ride home.
3:12 PM – Complainant in the 200 block of Harrilton Cir reported hearing a gunshot behind property, possibly towards Walmart.
7:38 PM -Officer assisted Natalia PD with a possible disturbance on 4th St.
9:10 PM – Complainant reported loud music in the 700 block of Tuttle Dr. Unable to locate.
Jan. 7
7:10 AM – Complainant in the 100 block of Warhorse Dr. reported a male subject standing across the street staring at the residence.
2:12 PM – An elderly female subject in the 600 block of N. Teel Dr. had a person on scene she felt uncomfortable with. Unable to locate.
3:15 PM – Two swings from the John Curcio Park were stolen. Value $140.
4:35 PM – Officer assisted with DPS with traffic control while TxDot filled in a pot hole.
6:52 PM – Officer dispatched to the 500 block of Melinda in reference to a father and son having a verbal disturbance over a living situation.
7:33 PM – A male subject in the 500 block of Melinda physically resisted officers and was jailed.
8:26 PM – Report of a male subject sitting outside of a vehicle on the side of IH-35 SB and mile marker 122 and yelling. Caller advised two young females were in the vehicle. The male was placed under emergency detention and transported to Southwest General Hospital. Assisted by DPS.
9:36 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Hayden Ave. was having problems with her son.
Jan. 8
12:28 AM – Officers dispatched to the 400 block of W. Davis Ave. in reference to a woman screaming. Unable to locate.
2:23 PM – A male subject was stumbling in the road in the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. then laid down in the grass. The subject was identified and transported by EMS to Medina Regional Hospital.
3:37 PM – Complainant reported school zone lights on working on W. Hondo Ave. TxDot notified.
3:40 PM – Complainant reported a male subject was in the roadway and being a traffic hazard.
4:27 PM – Crossing arm at W. Colonial Pkwy appeared to be bouncing, causing unit to shake. Union Pacific Railroad notified.
4:42 PM – Complainant in the 400 block of W. Crouch Ave. reported a Hispanic male with a husky build and a beard was parked in front of a house possibly taking pictures. Subject was in a dark colored pickup.
8:57 PM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of Renfro in reference to a verbal disturbance between a male subject and family. Subject left before officer’s arrival.
9:04 PM – A male subject was found walking and intoxicated in the 500 block of McAnelly Dr. and was jailed for public intoxication.
Jan. 9
2:02 AM – Disturbance between a male subject and a female subject. Parties separated for the night.
11:18 AM – Complainant reported a subject in a hoodie was laying in a ditch on IH-35 NB frontage road near exit 122; unable to locate. Complainant called back at 11:51 AM to report the subject reappeared and was walking NB. Officers made contact with the female subject, who declined a courtesy ride and began to walk SB.
1:05 PM – Several checks forged and passed at Valley Mart and PFC.
1:35 PM – Property taken from the back yard of a rental property.
1:41 PM – Luggage taken from inside a residence in the 400 block of W. Hondo Ave.
2:46 PM – Suspicious black Mustang reported in the 500 block of Park Ave. Officers made location; driver had run out of gas.
10:35 PM – Officers dispatched to Walmart for a hitchhiker in the area. The subject was asked by Walmart staff to leave the store and refused. Officer made location and made contact; subject left the area.
10:30 PM – Officers dispatched to the 400 block of N. Teel Dr. in reference to an open front door. Officers cleared the home with no issue.
11:53 PM – Complainant in the 700 block of N. Windy Knoll Dr. reported loud music. Officers made location; the music was turned down.
11:58 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 300 block of Ingram Rd. 6.3 grams of meth and $63 were seized. A male subject was jailed for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance PG1, 4-200 grams.
Jan. 10
1:35 AM – Complainant advised her husband had assaulted her. Under investigation.
4:28 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of Fernandez Ave. heard a couple arguing outside about money. Unable to locate.
