Devine Police Report Jan. 3-9

Jan. 3
8:15 AM – Disturbance between male and female at Walmart. Female on location, male left before officers’ arrival.
Jan. 4
12:50 AM – Complainant in the 300 block of Hwy. 132 stated person on narcotics was in a nearby apartment. Officers were unable to locate any suspicious activity.
1:25 AM – Officers dispatched to the 500 block of McAnnelly Dr. in reference to loud music. Kids were having a party and were advised to turn down the music; all was okay.
2:55 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 300 block of N. Windy Knoll Dr. The male driver was cited and released for driving without a license.
10:25 AM – An abandoned vehicle on IH-35 SB that was tagged on Jan. 1 was impounded.
10:30 AM – Officers dispatched to IH-35 NB in reference to a red SUV traveling northbound and weaving in and out of traffic; unable to locate.
1:35 PM – Officer observed two male subjects taking pallets from Tractor Supply. Manager wanted to issue a criminal trespass warning. One subject was jailed on a Bexar County warrant.
4:42 PM – A male individual walked out of Food King with unpaid merchandise and got into a white two-door Ford F-150.
8:58 PM – Officer dispatched to Windy Knoll Dr. in reference to loud music. All was okay; homeowner was advised to turn down the music.
10:14 PM – Officer assisted DPS with DWI in the 2400 block of Hwy. 173 N.
11:22 PM – Officers dispatched to the 500 block of Hayden Ave. in reference to a verbal disturbance between a father and son. The son left before officers arrived; all was okay.
Jan. 5
12:06 AM – Officers dispatched to the 300 block of Lorraine in reference to loud music in the area. Homeowner was advised to turn down music; all was okay.
6:40 PM – A utility pole in the 200 block of Allman Dr. was struck; AEP notified.
Jan. 6
5:30 AM – Complainant in the 1200 block of Devine Dr. reported a male subject knocking on the front door. Complainant did not recognize the subject, who was asked to leave. All was okay.
7:57 PM – A male subject was jailed for public intoxication.
8:15 PM – Complainant in the 1200 block of Devine Dr. advised they found a TV in their yard.
11:54 PM – Complainant advised a vehicle had been parked in the Walmart parking lot for approximately two hours with the engine running. Officers made contact with subject, who advised he was taking a nap because he was getting drowsy; all was okay.
Jan. 7
12:16 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 600 block of Hickory Hwy. The male driver was cited and released for driving without a license.
12:37 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 1000 block of W. Hondo Ave. The male driver was cited and released for driving without a license.
5:38 PM – Report of a black Charger driving erratically on Jack Nicklaus Dr.; unable to locate.
9:10 PM – Complainant advised she was being followed by a silver Dodge truck. Area was searched; unable to locate.
Jan. 8
6:17 AM – A male subject on foot threw rocks at a passing motorist near CR 5710 and CR 6610. Subject was picked up by a white Ford Excursion and turned onto CR 6612, then CR 676. Officer stopped the vehicle and detained occupants until Medina County deputies arrived.
8:15 AM – A male driving a Chevy Silverado was possibly under the influence at Amigos Country Corner. EMS was dispatched.
3:02 PM – Material on the roadway on Oak Hill Dr. Officers made location and verified individuals on location with truck and trailer to pick up materials.
3:11 PM – Officers assisted with multiple fires on the side of the road on IH-35 near mile marker 122.
4:12 PM – Complainant reported a vehicle had been sitting in the area of the 200 block of Jamison Dr. for over 45 minutes. Officers made location; was a realtor for a vacant home.
4:20 PM – Complainant came into PD to report information on a high school student driving recklessly.
10:20 PM – Report of two possible gunshots in the 1000 block of Robin Ave.; unable to locate.
11:09 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of N. Transportation Dr. advised of a silver Mitsubishi Gallant parked in front of her house for about 20 minutes. Vehicle left before officer arrived.
Jan. 9
12:02 AM – Complainant advised a male subject was back on location in the 500 block of N. Transportation Dr. causing problems with the complainant’s daughter. The male left erratically and almost stuck the railroad crossing arms. Complainant was advised of criminal trespass warning procedures.
2:40 PM – A male subject in the 100 block of W. Colonial Pkwy. was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia.
4:12: PM – Officers assisted Medina County at Chaparral Ford.
