Devine Police Report April 26-May 2

April 26
12:38 AM – Stop sign pole knocked down and stop sign missing in the 600 block of Howell Ave.
3:21 AM – Complainant in the 100 block of Enterprise Ave. reported that a female on location appeared intoxicated. The female was given a courtesy ride back to the 200 block of CR 6611.
April 27
3:02 AM – Officers dispatched to the 800 block of Transportation Dr. in reference to a report of a female who jumped in front of a passing train. Two unknown males pulled with female from the scene. No one was located.
1:19 PM – Officer dispatched to Walmart in reference to a female selling puppies in the parking lot. Employees asked her to leave and she didn’t. Officer made contact with the subject and advised her to leave the property. Subject complied.
April 28
12:08 AM – Complainant in the 600 block of Monticello Cir. reported several minors playing basketball in the street and making too much noise.
1:02 AM – A male subject in the 100 block of N. Teel Dr. had been released from Camino Real in Lytle and was walking back to Pearsall. Officer gave the subject a courtesy ride to Moore.
April 29
12:08 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of N. Teel Dr. The female driver was found to be intoxicated and was jailed.
April 30
9:51 AM – A male subject was served with a warrant for Theft 100 < 750 regarding the theft of nail guns from Parker Lumber.
3:11 PM – Female complainant on Coker advised a male subject riding a bike was dressed all in black with black gloves on and was carrying a backpack. Officer patrolled the area; unable to locate.
11:45 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of E. Colonial Pkwy. The driver was found to have a suspended license and was cited and released.
May 1
1:40 AM – A female stole a 25 oz. Busch beer from a store in the 100 block of S. Teel Dr. and departed in a blue Hyundai. The female was ID’d. Charges pending.
2:29 AM – The rear passenger door of a vehicle was open in the 600 block of Jack Nicklaus Dr. Officer made contact with the resident; the door was accidentally left open.
May 2
7:46 AM – Complainant reported traffic backing up on W. Hondo Ave.
2:30 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Hayden Ave. advised a tree limb fell and struck a vehicle and was also blocking the roadway. Public Works notified.
4:20 PM – Report of a truck driving towards the Devine city limits at a high rate of speed on SB Hwy. 173. Unable to locate.
7:37 PM – Report of a vehicle stalled on a lane of travel on NB IH-35. Unable to locate.
