At a called meeting held on May 5, 2021, the school board accepted the resignation from District 1 Trustee, Phillip Fitch.
The board also approved a motion to fill this vacancy by appointment and to accept applications for those wishing to be considered for appointment.
Application packets may be picked up at the Devine ISD Central Office at 605 W Hondo Ave. Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., or downloaded at devineisd.org. The deadline to submit your application and additional requested information is June 3, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. The board hopes to appoint a new trustee for District 1 at the June 21st board meeting or at a called meeting on or before June 30th.
