Devine High School participated in the 4A District 29 One Act Play contest last Friday, March 4 at Hondo High School. They presented the comedy The Affected Young Ladies by Moliere, translation by Barrett H. Clark. Schools participating in the District 29 contest were: Devine HS, Somerset HS, SA Young Women’s Leadership Academy, SA Harmony Science Academy, SA Fox Tech HS.
Schools advancing to Bi-District are: Devine HS, SA Fox Tech HS, and SA Young Women’s Leadership Academy. The Bi-District contest will be held at Hondo High School on Saturday, March 12.
Individual awards received by Devine High School at the District contest were:

The public performance of The Affected Young Ladies will be on Thursday, March 17 at 7pm at the Devine Student Activity Center (DSAC). Admission is free.
