The Current Events Club of Devine is holding their Third Annual Charity Gala, Saturday, February 16, 2019, at the George S. Woods Community Center. The event begins at 6:30 pm and ends at 11:00 pm. Dress is “Denim to Diamonds” (casual to formal), your choice. We will have hors d’oeuvres, dessert, wine and music by Premier DJ’S OMG. Event tickets are $30.00 each and may be purchased at the door. Come join us for a fun-filled evening.
We are holding a drawing for a 65 inch Smart TV, a $400.00 VISA gift card, a 230 piece mechanic’s tool set, and a Coach handbag. Tickets are 1 ticket for $5.00, 5 tickets for $20.00, or 15 tickets for $50.00. The drawing will be held at the event, and you do not need to be present to win.
Proceeds from the event help us support organizations such as, HANK, Inc. (Helping Abused and Neglected Kids), the Devine Food Pantry, Mission Devine, Driscoll Public Library, Gift of Hope, scholarships for Devine High School seniors, Love People Better (prom dresses and accessories for underserved high school students), Medina County Family Life Center, Wings and Reins Equine Refuge, and other worthy organizations.
