Daniel F. Mendez Jr. age 51 of Natalia peacefully went to be with his parents, Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in San Antonio, Tx.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Mendez Sr. and Janie Mendez.
Daniel is survived by his wife of 32 years, Michelle Mendez, children, Nathan Mendez, Jonathan Mendez and wife Sabrina Sanchez, Alyssa Mendez and fiancé Jonathan Guajardo, grandchildren, Gabriella Mendez, Weston Kyle, Jocelyn Guajardo, Grayson Ryan, Aariah Mendez, Juliana Guajardo, siblings, Rebecca (Herman) Del Toro, Angelica (Paul) Ortiz, Nicholas (April) Mendez, nieces and nephews, Christopher Del Toro, Nicholas Del Toro, Matthew Mendez, Mia Mendez and many loving friends and family.
He had a love for playing his drums, trips to the river and caring for his family. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation was held Monday, May 3, 2021 at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine from 2:00 PM till 9:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM. Celebration of life was Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel Devine with interment following in St. Joseph Cemetery in Devine.
