Cynthia A. Garza

Cynthia A. Garza

Cynthia A. Garza was born October 27, 1961 to parents, Reynaldo J. and Patricia F. Garza in San Antonio Texas.
At an early age, she was fascinated by traveling and often spent her time with her mom in the library looking at places she would speak of seeing one day. She started her journey of seeing the world by traveling to Germany for her student teaching. After she received her teaching degree, she found herself teaching children in different parts of the world. Cynthia would use her summer breaks to travel the parts of the world she was in, often taking her mom to the places they saw in books years before. Her travels eventually took her to the love of her life, Alan and after a storybook wedding they traveled hand in hand seeing the world together. Cynthia never lost sight of the children she taught and with a big smile always let them know she was from Texas. She continued to teach until her retirement in May 2019 after which she continued her long battle with breast cancer. Cynthia lost her battle with cancer and passed away peacefully at home in Lytle Texas on December 7, 2019.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her father, Reynaldo Garza and her brother Richard Garza. She is survived by her husband Alan Correa, mother Patricia Garza, brothers Ronald Garza and Roy Garza, nephews and niece as well as a great nephew and great nieces.
