City of Lytle giving out Small Business Recovery Grant Program money, Phase 2, easier to apply

It’s time to apply, the money is there, and the process is much much simpler in Phase 2! Which should make it easier for many small businesses to qualify within the City of Lytle.
“The application process is much simpler this time. They only need to tell us how they suffered financial loss or hardship because of the COVID-19 pandemic and how they will use any grant funds they may receive. Our committee will consider all applications and along with the City Council will award grant checks to those we feel need them,” said David Emery, City of Lytle Alderman.
The City of Lytle will accept Small Business Recovery Grant applications for Phase 2 of the Program through November 17, 2021, from locally owned businesses within the City of Lytle.
The Recovery Grant program was designed to provide money to small, locally owned businesses that have been in business within the City of Lytle from at least April 2020 until the present and who have suffered financial loss or hardship from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
To apply for a non-reimbursed grant, pick up an application form from Lytle City Hall or download the application from the City of Lytle webpage. Applicants must simply describe how their businesses suffered financial difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic and how they plan to use any grant money they receive. Grant money will be awarded no later than December 3, 2021.
Completed applications can be dropped off at Lytle City Hall or mailed to: City of Lytle, P.O. Box 743, Lytle, TX 78052.
