City of Lytle elections begin with early voting starting October 13 for Mayor and Aldermen races

The registered voters of the City of Lytle, Texas have been given notice that the polling places will be open from 7 am to 7 pm on November 3, 2020 for voting in the general election to elect a Mayor, and for a special local option election “for the purpose of considering the legalization of the legal sale of mixed drink beverages in restaurants by food and beverage certificate holders only”.
Lytle is unique as part of the City of Lytle is in three different counties, so the polls and times vary depending on where you live inside the City of Lytle.
All registered voters of the City of Lytle can vote in the Mayoral election and Special Option Election concerning mixed drinks.
Also registered voters of District 4 & 5 get to vote on their district alderman races. You don’t have to live in the district to run for a seat, but you must live in the district to vote for your district’s alderman.
Early voting by personal appearance will be conducted each weekday starting Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Applications for ballots by mail must be received by October 23, 2020. (See appropriate notice for information).

Atascosa County Early Voting for the November 3, 2020 General Election will be hosted:
Weekdays: October 13 to October 30, 2020 from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, and all offices will remain open during the lunch hour!
Extended Hour dates: October 20 & 27, 2020 from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm. and October 24, 2020 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

All offices will remain open thru the lunch hour.
