Texas Sales Tax Holiday is Aug. 9-11, Marks 25th Year

(AUSTIN) — Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar is reminding shoppers they can save money on clothes and school supplies during the state’s sales tax holiday on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 9-11. This will be the 25th year of Texas’ oldest sales tax holiday.
State law exempts sales tax on qualified items — such as clothing, footwear, school supplies and backpacks — priced below $100, saving shoppers about $8 on every $100 they spend. The dates of the sales tax holiday and list of tax-exempt items are set by the Texas Legislature.

There will be a mandatory high school band parent meeting in the Devine band hall on Monday, August 12th at 6:30pm. This is only for high school band parents.

2024 Back to School Convocation and Luncheon Aug. 12

Meet the Teacher at Lytle High School Aug. 12

Meet the Teacher at Lytle High School will be held Monday, August 12 from 5-7pm. Your online registration must be complete in order to pick up your student’s schedule. If you need help with registration, you may call 830-709-5105 to schedule an appointment.

Lytle JR High Meet the Teacher August 12

Registration must be complete in order to pick up a schedule. Schedule pick up times:
6th grade 4:30-530pm
7th grade 5:30-6:00pm
8th grade 6:00-6:30pm
Parents must be present to pick up a schedule. Bring IDs if not turned in previous year. School supplies may be brought and dropped off to your second period teacher.

Mandatory Parent Meeting Thursday August 1st at the High School Auditorium at 6pm. This is for all parents that have an incoming 7-12 male/female student athlete participating in athletic for the 2024-25 school year. Lytle Primary School

All students, both new and returning must register online for the new school year! If you haven’t registered yet, get started today at www.lytleisd.org.
Meet the Teacher is August 7th from 4pm-6pm. Student must be registered and cleared by August 5th to attend. Please plan on bringing your child’s school supplies with you. This gives teachers time to sort and prepare your child’s supplies for the first day of school. If you haven’t registered yet, make sure to do so as soon as possible so that you can attend! Pre-K students do not have a supply list, but will need a backpack, and a small blanket for nap time. Student must be registered and cleared by August 9th to attend the first day of school on August 13th.
