Carol Ann Summerlin, age 79 of Devine, Texas passed away Friday, May 18, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Thelma (Miller) Herring; brothers, Frank and Jim Herring.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey Newell Summerlin, Sr. of Devine; sons, Newell Summerlin and wife Kristi of Devine, Giles Summerlin and wife Cheryl of Horseshoe Bay; brother, John Herring of Devine; sister, Frances Anderson of Tyler; grandchildren, Ainsley Summerlin Kelly and husband Tyler, Tres Summerlin and fiancé, Stephanie Saathoff, Keeton Summerlin Coleman and husband Kyle, Sadie Summerlin and fiancé Nathan Hilliard, and Lexie Summerlin; great-grandchildren, Jaxon Kelly, Haven Kelly, and Kolt Coleman.
Visitation was held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with family receiving friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine. Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
