Byron Herbert Murphy, of La Coste, passed away on September 6, 2019 at the age of 87 years. He was born August 3, 1932 in Milan, Missouri to Marvin Herbert Murphy and Grace Miller Murphy.
Survivors include his wife, Maria E. Murphy of La Coste; sons, Michael Marvin Murphy of La Coste, Donald Joe (Marla) Murphy of Green City, Missouri and Edward Lee Murphy of Tarkio, Missouri; daughters, Terri Lynn (Bob) McClaskey of Raymore, Missouri and Sabrina (David, Jr.) Hernandez of San Antonio; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Emery (Rose) Murphy of Tucson, Arizona and Isabel Hart of St. Louis, Missouri.
Byron was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Johnny Douglas Murphy.
Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 10:30 am at First Baptist Church of La Coste. Services will conclude at the church.
