With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, Bobbie Turner, who peacefully departed from this world on February 28, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on August 10, 1935, in Moore, Texas, Bobbie lived a life rich in love, family bonds, and leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.
An avid quilter, Bobbie transformed fabric into warmth and love, stitching together stories, colors, and memories with each piece she crafted. Her creations not only adorned her home but also brought joy to family gatherings, symbolizing her dedication to connection and family tradition.
She is preceded in death by her parents Elmer Wesley Allen and Mary Jane Montgomery Allen; beloved husband William Earl Turner; son Billy Gray Turner.
Bobbie is survived by her children Barbara Evans (Calvin), Wesley Turner, (Mona); grandchildren Brandy Starnes (Derek), Jamie Evans (Lena), Misty Turner, Sherri Pundt (Brian); great-grandchildren Berklee, Aubree, Paislee, Bailee; sister Johnnie Faye Evans; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In celebrating the life of Bobbie Turner, we invite friends and loved ones to join us for a public viewing at Primrose Funeral Services in Devine on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 5 pm to 9 pm. A funeral service will follow on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 10 am, at Primrose Funeral Services in Devine where we will gather together to honor her legacy, share stories, and shed tears of both sorrow and joy. Interment to follow in Moore Memorial Cemetery.
