Beverly Ann Baltz, 87, of Devine, Texas went home to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 11, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas at the VITAS Hospice Center. She was born on April 7, 1934 to C. L. Hall and Dorothy Mae Lane in Independence, Missouri. She grew up in Independence with her mother and stepfather, Hank Moran and her step brother Jimmy Moran, who all preceded her in death. Beverly lived for many years in Missouri and Illinois and had three daughters. She was united in marriage to Carl Baltz in St. Charles, Missouri on November 28, 1975 and they moved to Devine, Texas in 2000. She loved her church community and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Devine, Texas. Beverly was a devoted and loving mother, an excellent cook and loved tending to her house plants and beautiful yard full of flowers. She loved to travel, especially to the beach. She also really loved her dogs and cats and treated them like family.
Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Carl Baltz, three daughters, Denise Anderson (Bill) of Troy, Missouri, Theresa Harke (Jeff) of Old Monroe, Missouri, Laura Zans of Devine, Texas and one step son, Steven Baltz of Iowa, Seven grandchildren, Seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Amanda Harke Owings.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Devine, Texas on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.
