Bakery Pub opens in downtown Lytle

LYTLE,TX–There’s a new pub in town! Owners Rachel & Philip Devaney and Dawn & Josh Walker are happy to welcome everyone to The Bakery Pub in downtown Lytle, Texas!! The pub opened on March 3rd with plans for an actual Grand Opening soon. The new business is a pub, NOT a bakery, but kept it in the name in remembrance of the history the 70-year-old building holds.
“The turnout was better than we could have imagined!! Our main focus is serving craft beer from local Texas breweries with wine options as well,” Walker stated. “We make an amazing Michelada using a pickle beer from New Braunfels Brewery, and a customer favorite, the Manmosa beer from 5 Stones, has been flying out of the tap, as well as the mango margarita is pretty popular as well. So stop in and have a nice craft beer or glass of wine after work!”

The historic building which the pub has brought back to life, has been around for over 70 years and used to be a bakery, which is why they call it The Bakery Pub. “We kept as much original material from the building as was possible,” Walker said. “You’ll see some of the old wood repurposed trimming the walls!! The front of the building is the most untouched, to preserve that feeling from so long ago.”
Seating is indoor as well as outdoor with a fenced in and nicely lit patio. The patio in the breezeway that will be great on those hot summer days that are just around the corner! They look forward to possibly having some live music in the future. They are open on WED: 4-9pm THURS: 4-9pm FRI: 4-12am SAT: 12pm-12am.
