B.C. McDonald 94, of Natalia passed away Wednesday, January 20,2021 at his residence.
B.C. was born June 5, 1926 in Corpus Christi, Tx, to parents James and Leta Lynn McDonald. He moved to Natalia in 1952 where he taught High School Ag until 1971 when he became High School principal until 1987. He served two terms as mayor of Natalia. He spent his retirement doing realty and cattle ranching. He served in the Army, Air Force and National Guard Reserves.
He is preceded in death by his spouse, Doris G. McDonald, parents, James and Leta Lynn McDonald, siblings, Thelma McDonald Amsden, James (Ted) McDonald, Dewy McDonald, Earl McDonald, Chester (Murph) McDonald, Childress (Chip) McDonald, Grady McDonald.
B.C. is survived by his daughter Debbie McDonald, son Bryan McDonald, grandson, Gabe Gentry, granddaughter, Deana Marasek, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 5:00 pm-9:00 pm at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine. Graveside service will be held Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Longview Cemetery in Bigfoot, Tx.
Due to the new Executive Order from Governor Abbott, we are asking that everyone wear a mask during all funeral services.
