A big benefit for JJ Reyes, a local musician, is planned for this Sunday June 27, 2021 6-11pm at the Devine Golf Course. There will be an awesome live music line up including Matt Hawk, Shelly Lares, the Solis Bros, Jeremy Richards, Nick Lawrence and Texas Latino.
JJ has been a local, professional keyboard player since he was 18 years old. He has played for, and recorded with Tejano Singer Shelly Lares, crossing over to Country music playing with the house band for Cowboys Dance Hall and Country Artist, Nick Lawrence. On September 22nd, 2020, JJ suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke with herniation that has affected his right side. He was finally released to come home March 3, 2021, where he continues his therapy and recovery.
We are so grateful to Roy Reyes, Jr., for providing sound for the evening and for all the artists who have come forth to offer their talents to benefit JJ. T-shirts and Koozies will be on sale, as well as a drawing. It’s gonna be a great time, so come out and join us!
