The JV Warhorse basketball team closed out its successful 2017 season with a loss to the Wildcats down in Carrizo Springs by the final score of 47 to 27. Continue reading “JV Horses end season against Carrizo Springs”
The freshman Warhorse basketball team couldn’t overcome a slow offensive start which had them scoring only 4 first quarter points and down by 3 points. The scoring picked up, however, and Devine had a 30 to 27 lead entering the final quarter but eventually lost the close ballgame 42 to 40.

Friday night was a great night to be a part of the Colt and Filly track program. The athletes competed in Pearsall for their season opener and the coaching staff could not be more impressed with what they saw. Pearsall ran the track meet off in a practice meet manner which allowed many DMS athletes to go home with ribbons as many placed well within their heats.

Each year Spring brings wildflowers out and if we are lucky, and had rain at the right times in the fall and winter, the fields will be turned blue by bluebonnets just in time for Natalia’s Bluebonnet Festival.
