The Devine City Council voted to purchase a Municipal Airport hangar from the Estep family for $130,000 and amend the current fiscal year budget for the same amount in a Special meeting held April 24.

DPS traffic stop leads to human smuggling discovery

A DPS trooper discovered eight undocumented men hidden inside this truck’s covered trailer.

DEVINE – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is continuing to search for the driver of a truck tractor semi-trailer suspected of transporting undocumented persons in Medina County.

Utility rates to rise to fund water pipe replacement


The Devine City Council voted unanimously to raise utility rates in order to repay over $9 million in financing approved by the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) to replace asbestos cement and cast iron water pipes throughout the city.
